A focused view of my work

I have supported undergraduate courses at York University in Data Visualization and Systems Architecture and delivered more than 200 hours of private instruction. My teaching covers data structures, algorithms, Java and OOP, AI/ML fundamentals, Android development, lab facilitation, office hours, rubric-based grading, tutorial design, debugging, and technical mentoring across students from six institutions.

Selected projects

These are the four I would walk you through first for this kind of work. Each one opens into a full case study: the problem, what I built myself, and what I would change.

ASC-PIE

Every PII dataset spoke its own language. I built a shared one, then put seven models through the same exam.

I developed this PII-aware named-entity recognition corpus and evaluation framework for my M.A. thesis, harmonizing four public corpora plus my own synthetic augmentation under a shared 19-type schema.

Mind’s Eye

Glasses with a camera, a phone that listens, and a voice that tells you who and what is in front of you.

I helped build Mind’s Eye, an assistive smart-glasses system that pairs an ESP32-CAM wearable with an Android app and cloud vision services so a visually impaired or Alzheimer’s user can hear what the camera sees.

Documentum Workflow & Lifecycle Optimization

The unglamorous code that proves a bank’s documents are exactly where they should be.

At BASS, I built and supported OpenText Documentum workflows that route banking clients’ documents through intake, review, and lifecycle states while proving they meet regulatory retention rules.

My roleImplemented and supported the workflows, DQL validation controls and health queries.
